Bandwagon is jumped! XD Here is my super crammed not fitting in those damn squares Influence Map Meme. :D Most of this will not surprise anyone. XD

Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon / Naoko Takeuchi
Sailormoon was what first got me into anime, and what first got me into drawing humans as opposed to all my previous animal/flower/cartoon related art. And even though obvious influences on my style have all but vanished, Naoko was a huge inspiration to me back in the day, and Sailormoon will always be one of my favorite series no matter what. <3 The image I chose btw is one of my absolute favorites, and Haruka/Sailoruranus is my absolute favorite as well. ;D

Narumi Kakinouchi
Manga-ka for series such as Vampire Princess Miyu and many others. <3 Her style is so haunting and beautiful, I fell in love instantly haha. And you can see how I totally ripped off (XD) was completely inspired for the design of Zel's assassin mask from various Shinma masks in Miyu. ^^

Kosuke Fujishima
It's completely mind blowing what a 180 his art style did during Ah! Megami-sama.. seriously if you look at the beginning compared to the middle, it's like two different people drew it. But yesh, Kosuke's beautiful art is what introduced me to Art Nouveau and Alphonse Mucha. <3

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto
His artbook Der Mond was the first non Sailormoon artbook I ever bought. XD And I got it when it first came out.. I think I even pre-ordered it from a comic book shop haha. His character proportions always tripped me out how crazy they were yet they still worked. D:

Kaori Yuki
What else can I say about her other than <333333. Seriously, a friend showed me an artbook she bought of hers (Angel Cage), and I was instantly in love, yet I had to wait YEARS before I could finally read Angel Sanctuary and own the artbooks myself. I aspire to be able to tell such incredible, epic stories like Angel Sanctuary and have my art be half as good as hers. <3

Takeshi Obata
One of my newer heroes ( along with Shirow Miwa, creator of DOGS, who I sadly did not have room for ). :( But yes his art is so realistic and detailed and still stylized, I couldn't tell if I spent more time reading the immense speech bubbles in Death Note or staring at the art. ( BTW I <3 Death Note and it's crazy detailed speeches and whatnot lol )

Yuu Watase
Another one of my old school heroes. ^^ Fushigi Yuugi was one of the first series after Sailormoon that me and my friends got totally hooked on, and the manga art totally astounded me, especially the coloring. I remember watching a DVD extra on Ayashi no Ceres I think of her sketching a Tamahome picture, and I was pretty much jizzing my pants watching her elegant hands at work lol. And it's been really awesome to see how her art has matured over time too. :'D

Video Games
Video Games have been as much apart of my life as art has, and when I'm not drawing or reading I'm usually gaming. <3 And I'm more often than not inspired by what I'm playing in one way or another. :'D

Star Wars
Everything from the movies, music, games, books, comics, ANYTHING, Star Wars has inspired me in so many ways and has remained one of my all time loves since I was young. Hell, Zel was originally a Star Wars fanfic character. XD;;;; And Dash was formerly Dash Render, but we've adopted him and are busy reworking him into our own character who will just happen to share the first name. ^^;

Michael Turner
Comic book art was always cool to me, but never so much until I saw Michael Turner's work. It's just utterly gorgeous, and even though I'm getting back into American comics these days, I doubt I will ever be so impressed or love anyone's work as much as his. R.I.P. Michael. :'(

Megumi Ogata
My favorite seiyuu (Japanese Voice Actor) EVER. Not only can she act, sing, and write, but she can draw too! *__* She's so charming and multi-talented, I've admired her for forever, and anytime I'm feeling down or frustrated, her voice always gives me comfort and encouragement. <3 My dream is to be able to meet her in person someday, not that I'd actually be able to say anything other than "*____* :: nosebleeds and dies ::".. but it's something I'd like to see before I die. XD

J-Rock/J-Pop/Music
I have to have music playing while I'm drawing, I find it almost as necessary as it is to breath lol. And I find many PVs for J-Rock and J-Pop singers/bands to be so visually inspiring as well as musically. I used the GazettE as the representing image since I've drawn inspiration from so many of their PVs~ :D But yeah, while I listen mostly to J-Rock/J-Pop I love many kinds of music, it just depends on my mood. :D

Live Music
For me there is nothing more invigorating than hearing live music, especially if it's music I love. I always feel so inspired and rejuvenated after seeing a concert, it's the best feeling in the world. ( BTW I used GLAY for the representing image haha <3 )

Hisashi Tonomura
My favorite guitarist ever, Hisashi of GLAY. <3 I take so much inspiration from him, especially style wise haha. ;9 And even though obviously I don't know the guy, I feel like he is my clone, if I was a Japanese man anyway lol.

Wolves / Animals / Nature
My original inspiration. <3 When I first started drawing when I was a wee baby Bixy, my love for animals and nature is what started me drawing. Especially wolves, they have been like my guardian spirit ever since I can remember.

Japanese Fashion
On the shallower side of things, I frikkin' love Japanese fashion styles haha. Everything from punk, lolita, decora, to goth, cyber, gyaru and hime.. I just love all of it. Just not necessarily the people lol. (Looking at you Brand Whores and Lolita Nazis, srsly calm the fuck down.) I especially love when people mix the styles together to make a whole new look that doesn't fit into any one "label" or type. <3 I don't really care whether something is "brand" or not, tho I do have designers I tend to enjoy. :) For example, I threw in a picture of h.naoto in there, who I got to see in person at Anime Expo 2010. ^^ I somehow expected him to be sort of elitest-ish, but he was so friendly and kind. XD; Like the first time I looked around his booth ( and touched all of the clothes and cried silently to myself at how expensive but awesome they were lol ) I didn't even buy anything and he still shook my hand and thanked me. XD; ( I went back later and bought a $30 shirt cuz it was all I could afford lol :'D ) Anyway, yeah, Japanese fashion is cool, and would be that much cooler if it were cheaper lol. XD
