Bwah I love this pic a lot and i have no idea what to title it! So if it pops up a couple more times in your watch box I apologize, I'm still trying to find a good title.


Anyhoo, this is Alexiel and Kira from Angel Sanctuary. :heart: I'm so obsessed with AS right now, lol... and I love Alexiel and Kira, seperately and as a couple. And this picture is really isnpired by this one line ( really this whole scene )that Alexiel says in Volume 11, but I won't say it because it's midlly spoiler-ish... well not really I guess. But anyway everytime I read it, I just die a little inside. XD I can't even describe the feeling.


But yeah... I actually really like how this pic came out overall. :D Tho poor Kira is just so overshadowed by Alexiel and all of her hair and such. XD; I'm sorry Kira~~


The scan doesn't really show it.. but with the coloring I wanted to have them in mostly muted, non-standout colors, so in a way ( or at least to me ) it would make them etheral looking or even ghost like.


One of the things I really love about Alexiel ( which I tried to emulate for this pic, but don't think I was that successful ), and/or about the way Yuki Kaori draws her.. is that her facial expressions can be so complex... like she'll be smiling but you can see there's something else behind it... like it makes you wonder what they're really thinking/feeling. Yeah I could just be reading into it too much.. but I love characters with those mysterious facial expressions. I can't explain it. ^^; But i hope I can learn to draw expressions like that better.


Sorry to ramble.. I just love Angel Sanctuary so much. :heart: :: totally going to cosplay Alexiel ::

And well the anime, or rather OVA basically only shows the first tiny part of the story... it totally leaves you hanging for what will happen next. XD So reading the manga is the way to go! But yeah.. the series is so good.. like it's really funny, but also super tragic, but aklso heart warming... I dunno it's just awesome, there are no words. XD

*nods* XD; [sarcasm] it wasn't the incest that caught my eye at all [/sarcasm]...Anyhows after reading most of the characters and the story really grew on me...Though didn't take long XD
