Wow... this is so bad. There are sooo many things wrong with this, and yet... I still like it.


Haha, at any rate, this is my character Zel.. and.. uh.. well Zel. XD; Long story short, in me and my best friend's (everlasting neverending awesome to the MAX) story, she is injected with a type of drug that was suppose to enhance her powers (no, not quite like steroids XD) and make her a better and more willing servant/assassin to the Emperor among otehr things. And while it sort of does that, it also messes up the balance of certain chemicals in her brain and it starts causing a sort of split personality disorder. So, that scary lookin' lady behind the true Zel is a physical form of that voice in her head, which is basically Zel just looking a little more evil/scary than usual, lol.


I've wanted to do a picture like this of Zel and "evil Zel" for a long time.. only I imagined it not being so crappy. XD Also, the lyrics for the english version of T.M.Revolution's song "Web of Night" just fit so well with Zel in some parts it's funny/weird/cool, so that inspired me to try and draw a pic like this finally, and that's also why I used that quote up there. It's basically just the proportions for this thing that kill it for me.. and her mask looks terrible. XO That what I get for deciding to try and draw this while trying to pull myself from an art slump.


I DO really like how the coloring came out though! "Evil Zel" kinda remidns me of something you'd see in Fatal Frame. It sorta makes up for the badness of the drawing itself... or something.. I dunno, I can't figure out why I like this. XD;
