Commission Info :D UPDATE - 5/16/07

UPDATE 5/16/07 - New display accessory options, and now accepting paypal!


That's right, I've gone and decided to try taking commissions. ^^ This is the first time I've done such a thing, so as time goes by I'll probably be updating this entry with new information and guidelines.


No matter what the request is, I ask that you send me references of some sort... if it's an original character that has not been drawn before, some written info is good enough. ^_^


IMPORTANT: Please note that what I'm drawing for you is to be used for personal use ONLY. I will retain the rights to show it in a portfolio if I choose to do so, however if it is one of your original characters credit will be given to you for the character. For original character works I will also ask if I may make prints of the piece to sell in the future, but it will be up to you as it is your character.


So in general, here's what I can draw for you. ^^



Original Characters
Fanart (anime/manga, movies, books, j-musicians, etc)
Furries/Anthro - Note I haven't done very many at all, but I'm open to doing them. ^^
Shounen/Shoujo-ai - this will need some discussion.
Ecchi - as will this~




Hentai - talking hardcore sex scenes of any kind, be it hetero/yaoi/yuri
Mecha
Monsters - well, actually I've never really tried XD;
Super detailed backgrounds - I'm sorry, I just suck. ;_;

Anything not mentioned is up for discussion, don't be afraid to ask me about an idea. ^^ Just note that I reserve the right to decline the commission if I believe that my skill is not up to what you are asking. I don't want you wasting your money, you know? Also, I have a fairly small list of characters that I just hate so deeply I don't think I could bring myself to draw them for any amount of money.. it may sound silly but it would just make me feel dirty. So I figured I'd list them to avoid complications. ;;

1) Send me a note or an e-mail with your request ( please see the "commission form" at the bottom for what kind of information to give me ), and if applicable any reference pictures are very much appreciated. ^^ Also, if you have any ideas/preferences for the character's pose, clothing, or anything else feel free to include that as well. It can be really specific, or just kind of a general idea. If you're not sure, we can discuss ideas. ^^

2) Once I have a good idea of what you want, I will sketch your picture and send a scan to you for your approval. Once approved, I'll await to receive your payment before continuing.

3) When completed, I will send you the finished piece by snail mail. Simple yes?




I often used mixed media in my pictures to some extent, but for the characters I use primarily colored pencils as I'm still learning with markers. Here is a list of media I use:

Characters: prisma color pencils, prisma color makers, copic markers

Mostly Background purposes: prisma color pencils, prisma color markers, copic markers ( including airbrush system ), pastels, watercolor, inks, etc

*Note: My marker stock is low at the moment, as I've used a lot of the important ones up ( like skin tones =_= ) and have not had the chance/money to order more yet. ;_;




At this time I can take payments by money order, checks and now paypal!
All prices are in U.S. Dollars.
All pictures will include some sort of simple background (unless stated you would prefer a plain white bg), ideas for which can be discussed
Works generally done on 9x12 in. Bristol Vellum paper, but I do have larger sizes of paper if you would like it bigger. Just note the price will go up the bigger the size.
All works are sprayed with a fixitif spray to keep the colors from dulling.


Colored Pieces

Full Body to Half Body ( half body generally from the knees or waist up ) - $15-$50+ (depending on amount of details/accessories, number of characters, etc) + $4 shipping and handling

Combo Pic - Price is determined depending on the combination. For example, you can have a bust and full body combo, a giant group shot, a chibi and a full size, etc.

Character Sheets - $20-$60+ depending on how much you want (i.e. full body front and/or back, half body, bust, accessory details, etc.)


*Optional Display Accessories:
Lamenation - + $2 to total
Mattes - Simple black/white/red etc. matte : + $5 to total
             Double black matte with white lining : + $7 to total

I've seen some other artists who have commission forms, and while you don't have to follow this exactly this will at least give you an idea of what kind of information I usually ask for so it will speed up the discussion process and I can get you a price quote faster.
